Meet Our Clinicians
| | Dr Amani HannaDirector | Senior AudiologistMBBS, M of Cl Aud, MAudA, An accredited Audiologist, full member of Audiology Australia (AudA). Dr Hanna completed her Bachelor of Surgery and Medicine in 1990 at Cairo University in Egypt, and specialised in Audiology in 1995. She migrated to Australia with her husband and two daughters in 1999 and completed a Master of Audiology at Melbourne University in 2002.
Dr Hanna is a government accredited Senior Audiologist holding a Qualified Practitioner (QP) number with the Hearing Services Program (HSP). She has practiced as a Clinician for 25 years in the Hearing Care Industry.
Dr Hanna has worked across the community, public and private sectors. She is the founder of Better Life Hearing Service in 2005. She has a passion for working with children and has gained much experience as a paediatric audiologist. In particular, she has successfully worked with children with Autism, ADHD and developmental delays. She also enjoy working with adults in the area of hearing aid fitting and enjoys providing unique and personal rehabilitation to enhance their quality of life. When not at work, Dr Hanna enjoys listening to music, swimming and spending time with her family. |
| | Mohab ShukryDirector | Senior AudiometristDip H.D.P&E, MACAud, Mohab has been a practicing Audiometrist for 11 years and a director on the Australian College of Audiology (ACAud) board for numerous years. Initially he completed a Bachelor degree of Commerce and practised as an Accountant for 14 years prior to a career change in 2007 during which he started his Diploma of Audiometry at OTEN and completed his degree in 2009.
Mohab is a government accredited Senior Audiometrist holding a Qualified Practitioner (QP) number with the Hearing Services Program (HSP).
He specialises in adult hearing testing, hearing aid fitting and rehabilitation, with a special interest in tinnitus management. He endeavours to always ensure his clients have a full understanding of their hearing aids and are able to use them to their full potential. It gives him great pleasure to hear of his clients’ positive communication and hearing experiences, and he is passionate about problem solving any difficulties. Outside of work, he loves cooking and travel. |
